DP World’s futuristic fourth terminal at Jebel Ali port and this particular contract was to construct the terminal’s main operation yard including a 1,200-metre long quay designed to accommodate the largest mega container vessels that has been built on a reclaimed island north of terminal 2.
Core Emirates was appointed by Dutco Balfour Beatty as their independent commissioning management specialist, responsible for installation verification, documentation, programme management, all testing and commissioning duties, together with bespoke IST activities for this mega project.
