SERVICE : TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT – ESTIDAMA
Our engagement was by Modon in this instance. Modon is a master developer mandated by the Abu Dhabi government to build vibrant and sustainable communities and develop strategic mixed-use projects in Abu Dhabi. The major redevelopment of Abu Dhabi’s historic port and traditional markets is under way. The first of which is the Fish Market.
Core Emirates scope was to ensure attainment of the ESTIDAMA certification for this facility by the review of:
- Owners Project requirement | Design Brief |Basis of Design
- Documentation from Design team to verify if Commissioning Requirements
- Develop Commissioning Plan including OPR and BOD narrative
- Prepare Estidama Design stage Commissioning Package
Following the completion of the above design stage activities, during the construction phase we ensure that we review relevant Construction Documentation and made recommendations to the design/construction team for the following:

Relevant shop drawings, relevant material submittals, relevant installation method statements, Commissioning method statements and sequences of operations, relevant O&M Manuals

Verify installation of relevant building systems | Pre-Functional Testing of building systems |Functional Testing of building systems.
- Review and approves the results of Commissioned systems

Review Estidama Related O&M manuals for inclusion of key energy efficiency, water conservation guidance, IAQ requirements etc.

Update the Commissioning Plan |Attend Commissioning meetings | maintain and updates Issues Log
