WYNN PALACE – MACAU

Wynn Palace is located in the Cotai Strip area of Macau. It features a 28-story 5 star hotel with 1,706 exquisitely furnished rooms, suites and villas, versatile meeting facilities With over 106,000 square feet (9,800 m2) of luxury retail, 11 casual and fine dining restaurants, Macau’s largest spa, a salon, a pool and approximately 420,000 square feet (39,000 m2) of casino space. The resort also features a variety of entertainment experiences, including the 8-acre Performance Lake with a choreographed display of water, music and light, together with the unique SkyCab.

Core Emirates were engaged by the main contractor, Leightons Asia. Our deployment began in detailed design stage conducting design reviews of all services. Our team grew from 14 staff to, at peak, 30+ members of the team responsible for the entire MEP systems throughout the project phases. This bespoke facility had some of the largest systems we have worked on to date; an example of which, was a CCTV package consisting of over 6000 cameras alone. Despite this, the project is now considered one of the ultimate tourist destinations in the world, moreover with a detailed knowledge of all systems, we had multiple staff remain on the project post-handover to assist the operator during the Defects Liability Period.
