Neil Burdess – New CSA UK Chairman!

On behalf of GCC CSA Committee, I would like to extend our congratulations to Neil Burdess of Banyards UK, who will become the new Chairman of the UK’s Commissioning Specialists Association (CSA). Neil will succeed retiring chairman Mark Todd at the Commissioning Specialists Association’s AGM on 11th November.

Commenting on his appointment, our GCC Chairman, Lee Hewitt said:

“As a long-term friend and ex work colleague, I am delighted that Neil will be taking over the role as chairman for the next chapter. Neil and I have long history of working together which continues to this day for the betterment of the CSA, its members and the industry. I am confident Neil will provide a solid platform to ensure continuous improvement, and I am looking forward to working closely together as we move forward to ensure global standards are attained”

Monthly News Letter

Despite coming to terms with the “new normal” as the COVID restrictions begin to ease, relatively speaking, its been business as usual for Core Emirates.

Internally, our Managing Partner Lee Hewitt is delighted to have been elected to become the new Chairman for the Commissioning Specialists Association’s GCC chapter. Lee has been involved with the C.S.A for over 30 years, so is excited to take the “hot seat” together with his newly appointed Vice Chairman, Soubhi, from T&C Technology. To date, The CSA GCC Chapter has seen a positive improvement in terms of increased memberships, both corporate and individual, therefore Lee aims to build on this, and many other duties, in collaboration with the other dedicated committee members from SESC, AESG, CSI, Sutcom, CML & Polytech.

The CSA is always looking for specialists across the GCC to get involved, so if you wish to learn more, please get in touch.

Further to our corporate memberships with the CSA & BSRIA, we have now received corporate membership certificate into the Emirates Green Building Council (EGBC) allowing us to further promote / enforce a sustainable future in the world of building services.

In other news, Core Emirates is also proud to have been awarded as the clients representative for a major Data Centre provider in the UAE providing CxA services, This is a great opportunity to allow us to increase our already successful portfolio in this market sector.
