GEMS Education is a division of the Varkey Group, a privately-owned company based in Dubai with interests in education. GEMS stands for Global Education Management System. GEMS Education operates in 19 different countries and planning to have schools in 50 different countries imminently.
Core Emirates were engaged to oversee multiple schools across the UAE concentrating on the preparation and delivery of all activities relating to ESTIDAMA IDP R3. Our duties included:
- Construction Documentation make recommendations regarding shop drawings, relevant material submittals, relevant installation method statements, Commissioning method statements and sequences of operations, relevant O&M Manuals
- Verify installation of relevant building systems
- Verify Pre-Functional Testing of building systems & Functional Testing of building systems
- Reviewed and approved the results of Commissioned systems
- Reviewed ESTIDAMA Related O&M manuals for inclusion of key energy efficiency, water conservation guidance, IAQ requirements and Commissioning updates.
- Maintain and updates Issues Log.
